Job description
A friendly and professional secondary school in Oxford is seeking an approachable and organised School Receptionist to join its administrative team. This is a full-time, permanent role ideal for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills. The reception is the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, making this role central to maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Role Responsibilities Welcome and assist visitors, parents, and students professionally and courteously. Manage incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries efficiently. Maintain accurate visitor logs and support safeguarding procedures. Provide general administrative support to the school office team. Assist with student attendance records and office communications. Coordinate appointments, meetings, and school communications as required. Candidate Requirements Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (school experience desirable). Strong organisational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school administrative systems.
