Job description
Immediate Start, Permanent, Full-time Are you an inspirational Physics Teacher, passionate about empowering young women in STEM? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic educator to join our science department in a thriving girls' secondary school in Brentford (Hounslow). This is an exciting opportunity to ignite a passion for physics and contribute to the academic success of our students. About the Science Department: Our science department is a collaborative and supportive team dedicated to fostering a love of scientific inquiry and discovery. We believe in providing engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students to explore the world around them. We are committed to promoting women in STEM and providing our students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in a rapidly changing world. About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that cater to the diverse learning needs of our students. Utilize practical experiments and real-world applications to bring Physics concepts to life. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys. Contribute to the development of the Physics curriculum and resources. Potential for a TLR for a candidate with proven leadership skills and a commitment to departmental improvement. Actively promote and support the school’s ethos of empowering young women. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Physics. Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students. Experience in delivering practical science lessons. A commitment to the education of young women. Benefits: Competitive salary (MPS/UPS + Outer London Weighting). Immediate start. Permanent contract.
