Job description
Are you an enthusiastic and motivated PE Teacher looking to make a real impact in students' lives? We are seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join a vibrant school in Dudley, where you can share your passion for physical education and inspire students across KS3 to KS5 to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging PE lessons to students from KS3 to KS5. Develop a curriculum that encourages physical fitness, teamwork, and personal growth through sports and physical activities. Assess and monitor student progress, offering constructive feedback to promote improvement. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence. Organize extracurricular activities, such as school sports teams, competitions, and fitness events, to promote an active lifestyle. Collaborate with colleagues in the PE department and across the school to share best practices and support school-wide initiatives. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress and achievements. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Physical Education or a related field. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Proven experience teaching PE at secondary school level, including KS3 and KS5. Strong knowledge of sports, fitness, and physical education practices. Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students. A passion for physical education and student development. Skills and Attributes: Enthusiastic about sports and fitness education. Creative and resourceful in lesson planning and delivery. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of a diverse group of students.
