Job description
A welcoming independent school in Gloucestershire is seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organised Receptionist to join their front-of-house team. This is a key role within the school, providing a warm first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff, and visitors, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school. The Role You will be responsible for managing the school reception, ensuring a calm, professional, and efficient service at all times. Duties will include welcoming visitors, answering and directing phone calls, managing emails and enquiries, and supporting administrative tasks across the school. You will play an important role in safeguarding procedures, including visitor sign-in and monitoring, and will work closely with office staff and senior leaders to ensure effective communication throughout the school. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy school environment.
