French Teacher - Parlez-vous Français? Teach in Wandsworth! An Outstanding school in the vibrant borough of Wandsworth is seeking a fluent and enthusiastic French Teacher to join their successful Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) department. This is a superb opportunity to inspire a love of the French language and culture in students and equip them with valuable communication skills. About the Role: This French Teacher position, compensated on the MPS/UPS scale, involves: Delivering engaging and interactive French lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience). Teaching French grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural understanding. Developing students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in French. Creating a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to practice and improve. Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback. Teaching at an Outstanding school. The Ideal Candidate: A qualified French Teacher with QTS. Fluency in French (native or near-native level). Proven experience teaching French at the secondary level. Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills. A desire to work as a French Teacher . Why This School?
