Role Highlights: Full-time, permanent position at a vibrant PRU in Wandsworth Teach English to small classes of students with a variety of additional needs Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the individual needs of students Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued and motivated Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development Track student progress, assess learning outcomes, and adapt teaching strategies accordingly Promote literacy skills and help students develop confidence in their academic abilities Experience & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching English, ideally in a PRU or alternative provision setting Strong understanding of behaviour management and strategies for working with students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs A creative, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues Enhanced DBS check required Why Join Us?
