Job description
Are you a passionate and dedicated Year 6 Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity? A thriving and supportive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a Year 6 teacher to join their team after the February half term 2025. This is a fantastic chance to make a real impact in a school that values both academic success and pupil well-being. Staff benefit from excellent CPD opportunities and a positive, community-focused atmosphere. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum. Prepare pupils for SATs, ensuring they feel confident and well-supported. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to drive achievement. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all abilities. Work closely with colleagues to deliver a consistent and high-quality learning experience. Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil progress and well-being. Participate in staff meetings, CPD opportunities, and school events. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Year 6 and a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum. Knowledge of SATs preparation and effective assessment strategies. Strong classroom management and communication skills. A passion for education and helping pupils reach their full potential. A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative and supportive school environment.
