Job description
Are you a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher seeking a new opportunity in an outstanding school? We are looking for an enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to join a thriving department in a high-achieving school in Wolverhampton, starting in February 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position and we welcome applications from experienced Design and Technology Teachers as well as ECTs. About the Design and Technology Department The Design and Technology department is a vibrant and successful part of the school, with a strong track record of success and innovation. As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the department's continued success and inspire a love of learning among students. About the Role As a Design and Technology Teacher, your responsibilities will include: • Teaching Design and Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4. • Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners. • Assessing student progress, setting targets, and providing constructive feedback. • Contributing to the Design and Technology department's curriculum development and resource creation. • Creating and maintaining a stimulating and supportive learning environment. • Working collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school. • Participating in relevant professional development opportunities. Experience and Qualifications • Design and Technology related Degree • QTS or PGCE • Design and Technology Teacher Salary The salary for this Design and Technology Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
