Job description
Are you a creative and reflective EYFS teacher who believes in the power of play to build children’s curiosity and confidence? Do you want to work in a nurturing, inclusive school where every child’s journey begins with joy and purpose? If so, we’d love to welcome you. We are looking for an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join our thriving school in Reading from January 2026. This is a permanent position open to full-time and part-time applicants, with a TLR available for the right candidate. About the School Situated in a leafy area of Reading, our Ofsted-rated Good school is known for its strong community links, inclusive ethos, and child-centred approach. Staff work collaboratively to provide a safe and stimulating environment where children thrive academically and emotionally. The Role Position: EYFS Teacher Location: Reading, Berkshire Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered TLR: Available for subject or phase leadership (for the right candidate) As our EYFS Teacher, you will: Deliver a high-quality EYFS curriculum focused on holistic development Use creative and play-based approaches to inspire young learners Build a strong foundation for learning in literacy and numeracy Foster curiosity, independence, and resilience in every child (If applicable) Take on subject or phase leadership responsibilities What We’re Looking For QTS and EYFS teaching experience Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills A reflective and innovative approach to teaching Enthusiasm for teamwork and professional growth What We Offer A supportive and positive working environment Engaged, happy children who love to learn Excellent professional development opportunities Collaborative planning and staff wellbeing focus TLR for the right candidate Great location close to central Reading and transport links How to Apply If you are an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher ready to nurture children’s love of learning, apply now to join our welcoming team.
