The Role: Position: Computer Science Teacher Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) Location: Derby Teaching: KS3, KS4 , and KS5 Computer Science Key Responsibilities: Teach Computer Science to KS3, KS4 , and KS5 , preparing students for GCSE and A-Level exams. Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that foster student interest in technology and computing. Monitor student progress , providing constructive feedback to help them reach their potential. Collaborate with other departments to create cross-curricular learning opportunities. Support extracurricular activities , such as coding clubs or STEM projects, to enhance students' learning experience. What We're Looking For: Degree in Computer Science or a related field. QTS or PGCE in teaching. Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3, KS4 , and ideally KS5 . A passion for Technology and the ability to inspire students.
