Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join the highly successful and well-resourced Science department at a prestigious independent school in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to contribute to a school that is renowned for its academic excellence. The Science department is one of the school's key strengths, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Science Teacher, you will teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the opportunity to specialise in one of the Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) at Key Stage 5. The department is well-equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring that teachers can deliver high-quality lessons with the latest resources. We are looking for someone who is committed to helping students develop a deep understanding and appreciation of Science, while also fostering a love for learning in this subject area. In addition, there are TLR (Teaching and Learning Responsibility) positions available for those who wish to take on leadership roles within the department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for career progression and the chance to develop their leadership skills in a highly supportive school environment.
