The Opportunity A vibrant and high-aspiring 11–18 academy in Northampton is seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join its humanities team from January 2026 (or earlier). This full-time, permanent position will see you teaching across Key Stages 3–5, including A-Level. You will contribute to curriculum development, assessment design and cross-curricular projects (e.g. linking with English, Politics or Geography). You may lead visits to heritage sites, local archives, or museums, and support scholarship or research projects for Sixth Formers. Collaboration is central: the history team shares resources, co-plans, and regularly evaluates practice.
