An Independent Mixed school in Harrow is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Science Teacher for a permanent, full-time role commencing in September. The successful Science Teacher will be passionate about all areas of Science and have the ability to effectively teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4. Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE examinations across the sciences, ensuring a strong foundational understanding. Foster a stimulating and inquiry-based learning environment where students can explore scientific concepts practically. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Science. Demonstrated experience in teaching Science at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4), covering all three disciplines. A strong and comprehensive knowledge base across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Excellent communication and practical teaching skills, capable of making science accessible and engaging. Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to the diverse learning needs of students in science. A commitment to collaborative work and a supportive ethos within the science department.
