About the Department: The Business Studies and Economics department is a collaborative and supportive team with a shared passion for exploring the world of business, finance, and economics. About the Role: Teach Business Studies and Economics at A Level, inspiring and challenging students to deepen their understanding of business and economic concepts and applications. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities. Support students in preparing for their A Level Business Studies and Economics examinations, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to succeed. Guide students in conducting independent research and completing challenging coursework, fostering their critical thinking and analytical skills. Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our Business Studies and Economics curricula remain relevant, engaging, and rigorous. Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the college to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in business and economics education. Ideal Candidate: Holds QTS or equivalent. Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Business Studies and Economics . Demonstrates a passion for teaching these subjects and a commitment to student success. Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment. Has a good understanding of the A Level Business Studies and Economics specifications and assessment requirements. Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
