Job description
Are you an enthusiastic Maths Teacher with the ability to inspire confidence and curiosity in your students? A welcoming and forward-thinking 11–16 academy is seeking a dedicated and motivated Maths Teacher to join its successful department from January 2026. Location: Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire Start Date: January 2026 Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience About the School This inclusive Catholic academy, rated “Good” by Ofsted, is recognised for its strong pastoral support and improving academic outcomes. In 2024, over 70% of pupils achieved grades 9–4 in GCSE Maths, reflecting the academy’s focus on high expectations, effective teaching, and student progress. Set within a modern campus environment, the school benefits from well-equipped Maths classrooms, new ICT facilities, and a supportive wider community. With a growing reputation for both academic standards and enrichment, the school fosters resilience, confidence, and a commitment to excellence in its students.
