About the Role: Teach Spanish at A Level, inspiring and challenging students to deepen their understanding of the language and culture. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities. Support students in preparing for their A Level Spanish examinations, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to succeed. Guide students in conducting independent research and completing challenging coursework, fostering their critical thinking and analytical skills. Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our Spanish curriculum remains relevant, engaging, and rigorous. Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the college to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in MFL education. Ideal Candidate: Holds QTS or equivalent. Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Spanish language and culture. Demonstrates a passion for teaching Modern Foreign Languages and a commitment to student success. Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment. Has a good understanding of the A Level Spanish specifications and assessment requirements. Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
