Job description
We are seeking a passionate and inspiring History ECT to join an Ofsted Outstanding secondary school in Andover this January 2026. You will teach History across KS3–KS5, engaging students through dynamic, thought-provoking lessons that bring the past to life. The successful candidate will benefit from excellent mentorship, a collaborative department, and clear pathways for professional growth. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and challenging History lessons across KS3–KS5. Foster curiosity and critical thinking through historical enquiry and debate. Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted feedback to support achievement. Contribute to enriching extracurricular activities such as the History Society, trips, and academic competitions.
