Job description
School Status & Location Sector: Outstanding Ofsted Secondary School. Borough: Camden (Inner London, England). Start Date: Permanent, full-time role commencing ASAP. The Opportunity & School Profile This prestigious Camden school seeks a dynamic PE ECT. Our ECT support package includes specific coaching on leadership communication, preparing you to lead sports teams and communicate effectively with parents and external fixtures coordinators. Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope Active Learning: Instructing Physical Education across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE) only. Theory & Practice: Delivering both practical sports sessions and the theoretical GCSE PE syllabus. Professional Standards: Working with the Head of PE to master formative assessment and lesson transitions. Compensation & Benefits Essential Requirements: Hold or be soon to obtain QTS. Relevant Degree in Sports Science or PE. Salary: Paid on the Teachers' Pay Scale with Inner London weighting. Support: Access to state-of-the-art sports facilities and a dedicated mentor.
