Job description
A dynamic secondary school in Newcastle is seeking a skilled and resilient School Business Manager to join from January 2026 . The School Business Manager will oversee financial management, HR, estates, administration and compliance, working closely with the Headteacher and SLT. A structured handover period will be arranged prior to January 2026. • School Business Manager required for a full-time permanent role • Opportunity to join a busy secondary school in Newcastle • School Business Manager working within a supportive operations team The School Business Manager will lead budget planning, produce reports, manage HR files, supervise support staff and oversee contracts, premises and health & safety. The school is looking for an individual with strong leadership, excellent organisational ability and confidence in managing multiple operational areas.
