Job description
We are working with a prestigious independent school in Westminster recruiting for a sophisticated and organised AV Technician. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working in a high-profile environment where technical excellence is the standard. About the Role This is a full-time, permanent position focusing on the delivery of high-profile school events, guest lectures, and daily assembly requirements. You will manage the AV infrastructure across the school’s historic and modern venues, ensuring that all digital communication and event technology runs smoothly. The role offers a blend of live event support and long-term technical project management. About the School Set in the historic centre of Westminster, this school combines deep-rooted tradition with cutting-edge technology. Responsibilities Prepare and set up sophisticated AV, sound, and web-casting equipment for whole-school events and external hires. Provide full technical support for curricular activities, ensuring classroom technology is maintained to a high standard. Maintain the school’s AV equipment inventory and coordinate regular maintenance with external contractors. Edit and produce high-quality recordings for school archives and curriculum examination needs using industry-standard software. Requirements Previous experience as a technician or experience working within a classroom setting. Right to work in the UK and a valid enhanced DBS. Salary £31,500 – £36,500 per annum.
