Economics Teacher – Independent Co-educational School in Croydon (January Start) Location: Croydon Start Date: January Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale School Information This established co-educational independent school in Croydon educates pupils aged 11–18 and is recognised for its strong academic performance, small class sizes, and personalised approach to learning. Role Information The school is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Economics Teacher to join its Social Sciences Faculty from January. The successful candidate will teach GCSE and A Level Economics , delivering a rigorous and engaging curriculum that develops students’ analytical skills and understanding of economic theory in real-world contexts. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, and supporting students in achieving strong academic outcomes. The role also involves contributing to enrichment activities such as debating societies, economics clubs, and guest speaker events. Teachers are encouraged to bring contemporary issues into the classroom to promote discussion and critical thinking.
