Job description
We are recruiting for a fantastic Primary School with a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Classroom Teacher with a vision for exceptional education to join their Key Stage 1 team as a Year 1 Teacher. They are looking to appoint a candidate with a proven track record of raising educational standards and delivering inspirational teaching and learning in Key Stage 1, alongside a commitment to engaging positively with pupils, staff, and the local community. Year 1 Teacher Role Full-time position 3-form entry Outstanding School Starting in April 2025 KS1 - Year 1 Teacher London MPS1 - UPS3 Salary School Information This is an exemplary three-form entry school based in London with an Outstanding Ofsted rating. The school is committed to providing a well-rounded education that nurtures both academic and personal growth. The learning environment is vibrant and inclusive, with a strong emphasis on fostering creativity and curiosity in students. Teacher Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 1 students. Implement appropriate teaching strategies to engage and inspire students. Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices. Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians. Participate in staff meetings and professional development workshops. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience teaching Year 1 students in a primary school setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dedication to professional development.
