Job description
Our Client is looking for a Drama Teacher to work within a well-established mixed secondary school based in Wakefield. This is a full-time position to start from January 2026. Drama Teacher required to work on a full-time basis Good mixed school based in Wakefield Excellent Drama Teacher to join a creative and well-resourced department Our Client is looking for a Drama Teacher to teach KS3 & KS4 in a department that values creativity, performance, and expression. Experience and Qualifications • Drama Teacher • Be an enthusiastic, inspiring educator • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE) • Legal right to work within the UK School Information This large 11–18 comprehensive school has around 1,200 pupils and enjoys a strong academic reputation, with 92% of students achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The Drama department has a purpose-built performance space, rehearsal rooms, and excellent facilities for creative learning. The school encourages participation in performing arts, running annual productions and drama clubs open to all year groups. Teachers describe the environment as lively, supportive, and inclusive, with leadership that values innovation and teacher wellbeing.
