Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Music Teacher to join a highly successful 11-16 mixed Academy in Luton. Situated in pleasant grounds on the northern outskirts of town, this school holds an excellent reputation for both academic achievement and staff support. About the Role This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September. You will be responsible for delivering a vibrant Music curriculum that inspires students across KS3 and KS4. The department is looking for someone who can maintain high standards of performance and composition while fostering a love for music in a diverse student body. Location: Based on the northern outskirts of Luton with accessible transport links and beautiful grounds. Responsibilities Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, preparing students for GCSE exams. Lead and develop extra-curricular musical activities, including choirs and ensembles. Use a range of musical technology and instruments to enhance learning. Contribute to the school's "Respect" agenda by promoting positive behavior in the classroom. Requirements QTS (or pending) with a degree in Music or a related subject. The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK. Valid enhanced DBS. Salary M1 – UPS3 (£34,398 – £52,490) per annum.
