Job description
A faith-driven school is seeking a passionate Religious Education Teacher to guide students in exploring faith, ethics, and spirituality. This is a unique opportunity to teach in an environment where religious education is central to the school’s values, fostering a deep understanding of faith and moral reflection. If you are dedicated to helping young people develop their spiritual and ethical awareness, we welcome your application. Why Join Our School? A school where faith shapes education, encouraging students to grow in their understanding of religious traditions, values, and moral reasoning. A supportive and inclusive community, where staff and students work together to cultivate respect, compassion, and integrity. A commitment to high academic standards, ensuring students engage critically with religious teachings and their relevance to modern life. Smaller class sizes, allowing for deeper discussions, personal reflection, and stronger teacher-student relationships. Access to modern teaching resources, including interactive learning tools and faith-based materials. Ongoing professional development opportunities, with mentorship, leadership training, and career progression pathways. The Role Teach Religious Education with a focus on faith, moral values, and ethical discussions, helping students explore their beliefs in a meaningful way. Encourage critical thinking and respectful dialogue, allowing students to engage with theological and philosophical questions. Use engaging and interactive teaching methods to bring faith and ethics to life in the classroom. Support the school’s wider faith-based initiatives, including prayer gatherings, interfaith projects, and community outreach. Collaborate with colleagues to develop a curriculum that nurtures both academic and spiritual growth. Who We Are Looking For A teacher with a strong personal commitment to faith and religious education. Someone who can inspire students to explore and understand faith, ethics, and spirituality in a modern context. A dedicated educator who values the role of faith in education and is eager to contribute to the school’s mission. How to Apply If you are a passionate Religious Education teacher looking to teach in a faith-driven school, we encourage you to apply. Please submit your CV as soon as possible. We look forward to hearing from you.
