Job description
Are you an imaginative EYFS Teacher seeking a Full-Time role in an Independent School in Northampton with a January 2026 start? This Independent School is looking for an EYFS Teacher who will begin preparation before the January 2026 start, attend induction during January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time EYFS Teacher. *** EYFS Teacher Northampton *** EYFS Teacher January 2026 start *** EYFS Teacher Full-Time Independent School opportunity The role for the EYFS Teacher: This Independent School's early years provision is calm, creative and richly resourced. The EYFS Teacher will lead high-quality continuous provision, deliver daily phonics sessions and plan language-rich activities. The EYFS Teacher will use observation and assessment to personalise learning and will liaise with parents to support children’s learning before and after the January 2026 start. The EYFS Teacher will also contribute to whole-school professional learning and will receive mentor coaching from the January 2026 start. Curriculum and professional development for the EYFS Teacher: The EYFS Teacher will develop thematic units, embed vocabulary progression and model high-quality interactions. The EYFS Teacher will plan outdoor learning sequences, manage transitions and co-ordinate early-years assessments. The Independent School invests in the EYFS Teacher through regular coaching, funded courses and peer-observation, starting with induction activities in January 2026. This means the EYFS Teacher will have staged CPD from the January 2026 start to support outstanding provision for children. Community and parental partnership led by the EYFS Teacher: The EYFS Teacher will lead parent workshops, develop home-learning materials and build strong relationships with families in the term before January 2026 and after the January 2026 start. The EYFS Teacher will be integral to school events, open days and transition evenings that take place around the January 2026 start, and will represent the Independent School at community outreach activities that enhance children’s experiences. Candidate essentials for the EYFS Teacher: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or EYTS with strong early years practice as the EYFS Teacher. • A reflective approach to pedagogy and strong communication skills as an EYFS Teacher. • Ready to engage in pre-term planning, induction and teaching from the January 2026 start as a Full-Time EYFS Teacher.
