Job description
We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher to join a fantastic school in Lambeth , starting in April 2025 . This is a part-time role, offering flexibility for the right candidate. What You’ll Be Doing: Planning and delivering creative, play-based learning experiences tailored to meet the needs of Reception pupils. Supporting early literacy, numeracy, and social development through engaging and interactive activities. Monitoring progress, assessing learning, and providing constructive feedback. Creating an inclusive classroom that encourages curiosity, independence, and confidence in young learners. Collaborating with colleagues to develop an engaging EYFS curriculum. Building strong relationships with parents and guardians to support each child’s development. Engaging in staff training, meetings, and wider school initiatives. What We’re Looking For: A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent. Experience teaching in EYFS , with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework. A creative and nurturing educator who can foster a love for learning in young children. Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A proactive and reflective approach to teaching, with a passion for continuous professional development.
