Personal Trainer – Group Exercise Classes (self-employed opportunity) Location: G11 6FB Salary: £20 per group exercise delivered (45mins) Please Read Before Applying - this is a freelance based opportunity for an average of x1 weekly class. Successful candidates will need to be registered as self-employed. We are currently looking for a reliable, driven, highly motivated personal trainer to join our personal training team primarily to deliver group exercise classes for a residential gym located in Glasgow, G11 6FB, with weekday evening availability. We currently require a trainer available to cover recurring weekly classes scheduled at either Monday or Thursday evenings at 6pm. We are looking for trainers experienced with delivering circuit/strength & conditioning based classes for up to x6 participants. The classes will be run for an initial trial period of 4-8 weeks, after which we’ll be able to confirm if sessions will continue on a permanent basis. The opportunity will involve starting with x1 trial class after which we’ll review participant feedback and confirm further dates with the successful candidate. The trial class will be paid in full at the advertised class rate. The role will involve delivering group exercise classes. This is a great opportunity for any self-employed trainers looking to earning additional income. The payrate offered is £20 per group exercise class delivered (45mins). You will be highly approachable, energetic and work with attention to detail, providing a high level of customer service to prospective members of the residential gym. Job specifics will include: Delivering group exercise classes themed on specific fitness targets, involving participants of mixed abilities Managing your administration duties, such as marking attendance for any appointments delivered on our platform Ensuring the attendance for all appointments carried out is updated in a timely manner Liaising with motive8 head office management team to ensure that delivery is consistent managed professionally Providing advice and guidance to help residents succeed with their fitness journey You will be an effective communicator and maintain communication between all relevant parties in a professional manner, working with guidelines provided on the essentials to be covered within an induction. You should also have experience in delivering fitness training sessions, and have a confident and articulate approach to the way you work. Please note you do need to hold valid self-employed insurance (or willing to obtain), as well as a valid Level 3 Personal Training Certification in order to be considered for the role.
