The role requires excellent communication skills to teach throughout the age range, with a focus on advanced concepts at A-Level. Responsibilities Design and deliver a challenging and ambitious Computing curriculum that prepares pupils to flourish in an inter-connected and fast-changing world. Engage, enthuse, and motivate highly able pupils, promoting problem-solving, rigour, and resilience in technical subjects. Demonstrate a range of effective behaviour management strategies and teaching skills, ensuring high levels of academic achievement. Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the school's continuous pursuit of excellence and outstanding examination results. Support the strong extra-curricular provision by running a Computing, Coding, or Technology-related club. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and a relevant degree specialism in Computing Science or a closely related discipline. Proven ability (or clear potential for an ECT) to teach advanced Computing concepts up to A-Level.
