Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of English to lead our thriving department in Newham. You will inspire a love of literature and language, driving academic excellence and shaping the future of English education in our school. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and vision for the English department. Develop and implement a challenging and engaging English curriculum. Lead, manage, and support a team of dedicated English teachers. Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing strategies for improvement. Ensure high standards of teaching and learning across all Key Stages. Lead on departmental professional development. Manage departmental resources effectively. A passion for English literature and language.
