KS1 Class Teacher – Brilliant SEN School – Bromley 📍 Location: Bromley 📅 Start Date: April 2025 📄 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent 💰 Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience) Are you a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in a specialist SEN setting ? Your Role as a KS1 SEN Class Teacher: 🔹 Plan and deliver engaging, multi-sensory lessons tailored to students with SEN needs , including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties. 🔹 Differentiate the KS1 curriculum to ensure accessibility and individual progress for each child. 🔹 Foster a positive and structured classroom environment , promoting confidence and independence in young learners. 🔹 Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, and therapists to implement EHCPs and Individual Education Plans (IEPs) . 🔹 Use adaptive teaching techniques to meet the needs of students with diverse learning abilities. 🔹 Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to provide a holistic approach to education. 🔹 Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to support continued development. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ✅ Experience working with students with SEN , preferably in a specialist or inclusive KS1 setting . ✅ A creative, patient, and nurturing approach to teaching. ✅ Strong knowledge of SEN strategies , differentiation , and early childhood education . ✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills . ✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
