Job description
An ambitious and supportive primary school in Harrow is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Class Teacher to join their team from January 2026 . This full-time, permanent role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled teacher to make a meaningful contribution to pupils’ learning and development within a collaborative and welcoming environment. Year 3 Class Teacher – Full-Time, Permanent Location: Harrow, Greater London Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time | Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) About the School The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos and strong community spirit. About the Role - Plan and deliver engaging lessons to a Year 3 class in line with the national curriculum. - Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of all learners and ensure strong pupil progress. - Establish a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment. - Maintain effective communication with pupils, parents, and colleagues. - Contribute to wider school life, including curriculum development and enrichment activities. What We’re Looking For - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). - Recent or relevant experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3. - Strong understanding of the KS2 national curriculum and effective teaching strategies. - Excellent classroom management skills and high expectations for learning and behaviour. - A collaborative and reflective practitioner with strong communication skills.
