SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Kensington – ASAP Start Role: SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant Nature: Full-Time, Permanent Start: ASAP Salary: Dependent on experience A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Kensington is seeking a dedicated SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide tailored support to a student with additional learning needs, helping them to engage in their education and reach their full potential. Role Highlights: Full-time, permanent position at a supportive primary school in Kensington Provide one-to-one support for a student with special educational needs, helping them access learning in a structured and engaging way Assist with the implementation of an Individual Education Plan (IEP) tailored to the student's needs Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external specialists to ensure the best outcomes for the student Support social, emotional, and academic development, fostering confidence and independence Adapt learning activities to suit the student's needs and encourage participation Build a strong, trusting relationship with the student to create a positive learning experience Experience & Qualifications: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar SEN support role is desirable A genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to working with students Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Enhanced DBS check required Why Join Us?
