As a German Teacher at our school, you will have the opportunity to teach German across Key Stages 3-5, inspiring students of all abilities and nurturing their language learning journey. What you'll do as a German Teacher: Deliver engaging and innovative German lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and language levels. Create a dynamic and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to communicate in German and develop their language skills. Teach a variety of German grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, fostering students' understanding of the language structure. Incorporate authentic materials and cultural activities into your lessons, bringing the German language and culture to life. Assess and monitor student progress in German, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential. Contribute to the development of the German curriculum and departmental resources, ensuring that our teaching remains current and engaging. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of German teaching. What you'll need to be a successful German Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in German or a related field. Experience teaching German at the secondary level. A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for German. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
