Job description
An Outstanding High School in Haringey is looking for a permanent, full-time Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Geography, starting January 2026. Begin your career in a highly successful Humanities faculty. About the School This school is rated Outstanding by Ofsted and is recognized for its strong academic structure and excellent results. The Geography department is supportive and runs a rigorous curriculum up to A-Level, emphasizing practical fieldwork. The school offers a clear, structured ECT induction programme focused on professional development. Responsibilities You will deliver structured instruction in Geography across Key Stages 3, 4 (GCSE), and 5 (A-Level). Your focus is driving high attainment and quickly embedding effective classroom management and practical fieldwork technique. You must fully engage with the ECT support and mentoring programme and assist with the organising of fieldwork programmes. Requirements You must hold or be soon to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). You must have the right to work in the UK. Benefits Excellent salary paid on the national Teachers' Pay Scale (M/UPS).
