Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Year 1 Teacher to join our warm and ambitious Primary School in High Wycombe. This is a permanent role starting October half term 2025, offering the opportunity to guide children through an exciting stage of their early education. Key Information Position: Year 1 Teacher Start Date: October Half Term 2025 Contract Type: Permanent Working Pattern: Full Time, Term Time Only Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) Suitable for: Experienced or Early Career Teachers (ECTs welcome) About the Role We are looking for a creative and motivated teacher to join our KS1 team. As a Year 1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping pupils transition smoothly from the Early Years into Key Stage 1. You will design engaging and differentiated lessons that inspire curiosity, independence, and confidence. The successful candidate will embrace the responsibilities of a Year 1 Teacher, working closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure every child achieves their potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
