Job description
Geography Teacher required to work on a full-time position from January 2026 Good mixed school based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire Geography Teacher to join a well-established and collaborative department Our Client is looking for a Geography Teacher to work within a large and well-respected mixed school in Hitchin. The successful Geography Teacher will teach KS3 & KS4, inspiring curiosity and a love for global learning. School Information This 11–18 comprehensive serves approximately 1,300 pupils and maintains strong academic standards, with 93% achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The Geography department is a popular and high-performing area of the curriculum, with field trips, sustainability projects, and cross-curricular links to science and humanities. Teachers describe the school as professional, caring, and innovative. The leadership team is highly supportive, ensuring staff have access to excellent CPD, mentoring, and opportunities for progression. The school culture encourages teamwork and creative teaching strategies. This position is ideal for an enthusiastic Geography Teacher who wants to make a lasting impact in a forward-thinking and inclusive environment.
