Job description
An excellent Grammar School in Salisbury, Wiltshire is seeking a motivated and ambitious Business Teacher (ECT) to join its high-performing department from January 2026 . This is a full-time, permanent opportunity ideal for an Early Career Teacher looking to begin their career in a structured, supportive, and academically driven environment. • Business Teacher (ECT) • Grammar School – Salisbury, Wiltshire • January 2026 start • Full-time, permanent role • KS4 and KS5 Business About the School This academically selective secondary school educates approximately 1,200 students aged 11–18 and is rated Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ . Students are highly motivated, behaviour is exemplary, and outcomes at GCSE and A-Level are consistently well above national averages. The Business department is well-established and growing, with strong uptake at A-Level. ECTs benefit from a comprehensive induction programme, reduced timetable, mentoring from experienced colleagues, and excellent CPD. The Role You will teach Business across KS4 and KS5, supported by an experienced Head of Department and a collaborative faculty committed to developing early career teachers.
