Job description
About the Role An Independent school in Brent requires a passionate Geography Teacher for an immediate temporary role. This full-time position provides the opportunity to teach Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students with a love for geographical concepts and environmental issues. About the School This school is known for its strong emphasis on the humanities, well-equipped geography department, and supportive learning environment. The Geography department offers students access to fieldwork opportunities, GIS software, and university partnerships. Responsibilities Teach Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4, engaging students with geographical concepts and environmental issues. Develop and implement fieldwork activities and projects. Assess student work and provide constructive feedback. Work collaboratively to plan and deliver the Geography curriculum. Support students with geography-related projects and competitions. Qualifications and Experience Degree in Geography or a related field. PGCE or QTS. Experience teaching Geography at the secondary level.
