Job description
A Business Studies Teacher is required for a fixed-term Maternity Cover contract (full-time) at an Outstanding school in Enfield, starting January 2026. This crucial role is within a high-performing department known for strong examination results. About the School This school has a palpable culture of high aspiration. Responsibilities The Business Studies Teacher will deliver rigorous instruction across Key Stages 4 (GCSE), and 5 (A-Level), with some contribution to KS3 subjects as required. The teacher is responsible for driving high attainment and promoting sophisticated market analysis, strategic thought, and commercial awareness. They must lead engaging sessions focused on case studies, current affairs, and entrepreneurial concepts. The Business Studies Teacher is expected to cover all duties relevant to the fixed-term post and contribute to consistent high academic outcomes. Requirements Holds or is soon to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Has the right to work in the UK. Holds a Degree or has experience teaching Business Studies.
