Science Teacher – Portsmouth

This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs), with specialisms in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics welcomed. The Role The successful candidate will: Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 available depending on specialism and experience). Teach your subject specialism to GCSE and/or A-Level where applicable. Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies. Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning. Support enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs or science fairs. Uphold high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement. Candidate Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics. Effective classroom management skills.
