Job description
An engaging and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher with a passion for History is required to join an Outstanding Mixed school in Enfield. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with a fascination for the past and develop their critical thinking skills. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver captivating Humanities Teacher lessons, primarily focusing on History at Key Stages 3 and 4. Prepare students effectively for GCSE History examinations, ensuring a strong understanding of historical concepts and interpretations. Cultivate a dynamic learning environment that encourages historical inquiry, debate, and the analysis of sources. Assess and monitor student progress in Humanities (History), providing insightful feedback to enhance their understanding. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in History. Demonstrated experience teaching Humanities with a strong emphasis on History at Key Stages 3 and 4. A strong and comprehensive knowledge of British and world history. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, capable of bringing historical events to life for students.
