Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver inspiring lessons that meet the needs of Year 5 students and align with the National Curriculum . Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback and setting clear learning targets. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures a love for learning. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum and share best practices. Foster strong relationships with parents and carers , providing updates on pupil progress and addressing any concerns. Participate in staff meetings, professional development , and other school activities. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 , preferably Year 5. Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment strategies. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
