Job description
Inspire young mathematicians in Key Stage 3 at our outstanding Newham school! Part-time role available. Our exceptional school in Newham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths teacher for a part-time position, primarily focusing on Key Stage 3. If you have a passion for laying strong mathematical foundations and engaging younger learners, we would love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 students. Develop a love of numbers and problem-solving in younger learners. Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment. Contribute to the development of the Key Stage 3 Maths curriculum. Assess and track student progress, providing targeted support. We Offer: Competitive pro-rata salary in line with Newham pay scales. Opportunity to work in an outstanding school with a focus on student progress. Supportive and experienced Maths department. Excellent resources and a positive working environment. Part-time hours with a focus on Key Stage 3. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Degree in Mathematics or a closely related field. Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 (ECTs with a passion for this age group are encouraged to apply). Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make Maths accessible and engaging for younger learners. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
