Geography Teacher – Westminster, Inner London 🌍 Inspire Global and Local Insight at a High-Achieving Central London Academy We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and committed Geography Teacher to join the successful Humanities faculty at a highly regarded secondary academy in the prestigious Westminster area of Central London. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in January 2026 . Geography Teacher required Full-time, Permanent position starting January 2026 High-performing academy in Westminster, Inner London Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 & 4 (KS3/KS4), with potential for Key Stage 5 (KS5) teaching. Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of £2,000 available The Opportunity The successful applicant will be an inspirational and highly effective Geography specialist dedicated to delivering rigorous, engaging lessons that foster curiosity about the world's physical and human processes. You will be joining a supportive, intellectually stimulating environment where high academic expectations and critical analysis are prioritized. This role focuses on outstanding classroom practice and contributing to a successful Humanities department in the heart of the capital. To secure an exceptional candidate, this role includes a generous Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of £2,000 per annum . This financial incentive is a purely financial reward designed to support excellent teachers and their commitment to our school community. We Are Looking For: A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) . A relevant degree in Geography or a closely related discipline. A proven track record as an excellent Geography Teacher with experience teaching the subject to at least Key Stage 4 (GCSE) . A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire students of all abilities. The drive to contribute positively to the academic life of the school. Salary and Benefits Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Teachers. The base salary will be paid according to experience within the statutory Inner London Pay Scale (The Inner London Main Pay Range minimum is approximately £40,317 as of September 2025). A fixed Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of £2,000 per annum. Excellent, structured professional development and career progression pathways.
