Job description
We are working closely with a school who are recruiting for a dedicated and resilient Office Cover Administrator to join a specialist SEN setting in Milton Keynes starting this March. This is a vital role within a school that provides a tailored, therapeutic education for pupils with complex needs. About the Role This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8 am – 4 pm (Term time only). Act as the primary point of contact for parents, transport providers, and healthcare professionals. Manage daily attendance data, specifically tracking student arrivals and medical appointments. Provide administrative support to the SENCO, including the preparation of EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) documentation. Handle sensitive enquiries with empathy, ensuring a calm environment for pupils who may visit the office. About the School Located in Milton Keynes , this specialist SEN school supports pupils with a range of needs, including Autism and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. The school is celebrated for its inclusive ethos and its commitment to providing a safe, tranquil space where every child can flourish. Requirements Previous experience in an educational office environment (SEN experience is highly desirable). A "human-like", patient approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Must have the right to work in the UK. Salary and Benefits £24,000 – £28,000 per annum (pro-rata). Benefits include specialist SEN awareness training and a supportive, close-knit staff team.
