Job description
We are seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher for a lovely school in Lambeth, starting ASAP. This role can be either full-time or part-time, offering flexibility for the right candidate. Interviews will be held as soon as possible. Year 4 Teacher Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of Year 4 students. Implement effective teaching strategies to inspire and support students in their learning journey. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for development. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes mutual respect and enthusiasm for learning. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and enhance curriculum delivery. Maintain strong communication with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns. Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities as required. Year 4 Teacher Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting, particularly in KS2. Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs. Commitment to continuous professional development and educational best practices. A flexible and team-oriented approach to working within a collaborative school environment.
