Key Responsibilities Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group interventions , aligned with pupil ILPs or EHCPs Monitor progress, record outcomes, and report findings to class teachers and SENCO Support pupils in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning programs Promote positive behaviour and assist pupils in developing emotional regulation strategies Assist teachers with differentiated classroom activities and group tasks Collaborate with external specialists, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support Participate in staff meetings, training, and ongoing professional development Person Specification Previous experience in SEN support, intervention delivery, or classroom assistance Strong literacy and numeracy skills Ability to work effectively 1:1 or with small groups Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Patience, adaptability, and professionalism Relevant qualifications such as Level 3 TA, ELSA, or SEN-focused training Desirable: experience with intervention programs such as Little Wandle, 1st Class@Number, or Lexia .
