Job description
A successful 11–18 secondary school in Cannock is looking for a committed Teacher of History to join its Humanities faculty from January 2026 . The school has a Good Ofsted rating and a growing reputation for academic excellence and student engagement. About the Role You’ll teach History across KS3–KS5, bringing key events, movements and figures to life through storytelling, debate and analysis. The department promotes curiosity and discussion, helping students make meaningful links between past and present. Regular trips, enrichment events and partnerships with local heritage sites help keep the subject dynamic and engaging. You’ll Bring QTS or equivalent qualification in History.
