Geography ECT required January 2026 Mixed comprehensive school based in St Albans Geography ECT to join a collaborative and highly supported Humanities faculty Our Client is looking to appoint a Geography ECT to teach KS3 and KS4 within a progressive secondary school in St Albans. The successful candidate will join a well-established Humanities faculty and receive structured support through a comprehensive ECT induction programme. The role includes delivering engaging lessons, supporting fieldwork planning, and contributing to curriculum development under the guidance of experienced subject specialists. School Information This 11–18 secondary school serves approximately 1,300 pupils and is recognised locally for strong academic performance, with Geography achieving consistently positive progress outcomes at GCSE. The department is well equipped with specialist teaching rooms, digital mapping resources, GIS software and structured fieldwork programmes that enrich real-world geographical understanding.
